MODEL JESSICA WHITE SUPPORTS NEW YORK FOSTER CHILDREN
Last night, New Yorkers for Children hosted their 10th annual gala to raise funds for the important New York City based charity. In attendance were the city’s elite and celebrity supporters. The gala raised over $300,000 and more importantly heightened awareness for the charity which supports New York city foster care youth through establishing tutoring programs, scholarships, and networking opportunities.
Model Jessica White showed her support and graciously walked the red carpet as she headed in to the gala to enjoy the evening’s festivities, which included the premiere of director Tony Gilroy’s (Duplicity, Michael Clayton) short film with testimonies from eight youth currently in foster care.
Jessica is an ardent philanthropist herself. She recently started her own foundation which provides services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Jessica’s Angel Wings Foundation is her current focus, as she is working to increase awareness around the organization’s mission.
